إن أهمية هذه المحاولة تكمن في إرتيادها مجالات فكرية جديدة فالتعامل مع الفعل الإجتماعي ليس بالأمر اليسير على الإطلاق فكيف بنا ونحن نحاول صياغته قرآنياً، إن هذا الكتاب يحاول النظر إلى القرآن الكريم على أنه مركب من الآيات السوسيولوجية التي تتعامل مع السلوك والظاهرة الإجتماعية من خلال منهج معين هو المنهج الإلهي الذي يرسم الأطر العامة للسلوك الإنساني منطلقاً من إطار "دينجتماعى".
احتوى هذا العمل على مجموعة من الفصول تتناول جوانب ذات أهمية في الصياغة القرآنية للفعل الإجتماعي فكان الفصل الاول تمهيداً للفصول الذي تليه وذلك بإيضاحه لمجموعة من المفاهيم، هي الدين فالإيمان فالإسلام فالقرآن الكريم ثم الفعل الإجتماعي، وقد عولج الأخير من وجهتي نظر الأولى غربية والثانية إسلامية، وكان السبب في تقديم الرؤية الغربية للفعل راجع إلى أسلوبها المنهجي في تناوله مما يسهل على القارئ فهم الفعل الإجتماعي من خلال الرؤية السوسيولوجية الحديثة التي من الممكن ان تفيد منها في فهم بعض الآراء الخاصة بعلماء المسلمين ووصفهم وتحليلهم للفعل الإنساني وقد تناولنا هذه المفاهيم لسببين أولهما أهميتها في مجريات الدراسة وثانيهما يتعلق بحداثة هذه المفاهيم في الدراسات الخاصة بعلم الإجتماع وعلى الأخص في المجتمعات العربية والإسلامية.
أما الفصل الثاني: فكان محاولة لفهم المستويات القرآنية للفعل أي كيفية فهم الفعل بصيغته القيمية العليا وهي الطبيعة المرتبية لها محاولين التعرف على تأثير كل مستوى من هذه المستويات في الفكر الإنساني والفعل الإجتماعي فأخذنا أولاً الفعل الأعلى قيمية وهو الفعل الإلهي ومن بعده الفعل الملائكي فالفعل النبوي ففعل الأولياء محاولين التقصي عن مقدار تأثير هذه النماذج والرموز القرآنية في فعل الإنسان.
