"قصة حلم" رواية تستعرض قصة امرأة تعيش حياة سعيدة وتقليدية منذ طفولتها ثم تتحول حياتها وتفقد كل شيء حولها، وتضعها الحياة في مفترق طرق بين الفقد المادي الكامل وبين إيجاد الذات المعنوي، وإيجاد الذات في خضم الأزمات والمعاناة يبدو صعباً ويعجز عنه الكثير من الناس حين يفقدون كل شيء. فالثراء المادي منفصل عن الثراء المعنوي، الثراء المادي قد يبقى وقد يزول، ولا يمنح بالضرورة ثراء روحي عميق؛ أما الثراء الذاتي المعنوي فهو ما يجعل الإنسان يقوم ويستعيد نفسه من جديد رغم كل الظروف الصعبة.
بطلة الرواية تتجه إلى تصوف روحي ونقاء فكري لتتجاوز تلك الأزمات وتؤمن بعمق أن حلمها البعيد سيتحقق، لقد عاشت حقيقة الحلم قبل أن تعيش وجوده على أرض الواقع، آمنت بأن الله على كل شيء قدير، وأن تلك القدرة المطلقة تحيط بجميع البشر ولكن هناك من ينساها وهناك من يتجاهلها وهناك من لا يؤمن بها، ولكنها آمنت بها بكل ذرة بكيانها، وحين تحقق الحلم البعيد، لم تتوقف عند جماله وروعته بل توقفت عند جمال الخالق الودود الذي حين تغلق كل أبواب الحياة يُبقي باباً مفتوحاً لمن يتوجه إليه وكذلك لمن يدير ظهره ويرحل، فرحمته تنادي تشمل القريب وتنادي البعيد.
