تعوّد “صالح” أن يفعل ثلاثة أمورٍ قبل أن ينام، وهي: أوّلاً، أن يأكل “سندويشة” زعتر وزيت. ثانيًا، أن يغلق نافذة غرفته جيِّدًا. أخيرًا، أن يلعب بشعر والده الذي دومًا يقنعه بالنوم باكرًا. ولكن “أبا صالح” لم يأتِ تلك الليلة ولا في الليالي اللاحقة… حيث لم يتمكّن “صالح” من النوم. تُرى هل بقي “صالح” ينتظر والده كلّ ليلة؟ أم أنَّه أدرك أنَّه لن يعود بعد اليوم؟
