"أريد ظله من بين المئة ظل ليتبع ظلي، فقط أريده" عبارة تختصر ما تريده الشاعرة حنان عبد السلام منصوب من (الآخر / الرجل) في نصوص ادبية وسمتها بـ "ضوء ومئة ظل" تؤشر من خلالها على إستمرار حضور هذه المسافة بين الإنسان وظله ثم خلف مناخ شعوري مغاير تماماً لما يفترض أن تكون عليه علاقة بالمرأة بالرجل، بين من هو التابع ومن هو المتبوع، وبهذا تكون الشاعرة قد خلقت هنا صورة مغايرة للمألوف في الثقافة العربية، ما يذكرنا بقول الشاعر عبد الناصر صالح "أن الشعر الحقيقي ليس صياغة أفكار جاهزة أو آراء مستقلة مهما شرف المقصد وعظمت الغاية، وإنما هو كشف دائم يفتح أعيننا على الكون وينطلق من اعماق الذات إلى أرجائه".
ولهذا، فالشعر المتميز هو الشعر الذي يحرك الأفكار أيضاً ولا يكتفي بالعواطف ويشعرُّ حنان منصوب لا يزال ينهمر كالشلال في الإبداع، وسيظل مستمر تقول الشاعرة: "كذب من قال "الحب يصنع المعجزات"... او أن "الحب دائماً ينتصر"... أو حتى أنه "يبقى للأبد "لا أبدية في الحياة" الجميع فانْ... والحب ضعيف جداً من أن يتحمل كل المعوقات التي يظهرها الآخرون أمامه... دائماً الحب يخسر ويضعف وينتهي ليموت".
