وكتابه "العوامل المئة" من معجزاته الإبداعية التي ظهرت فيها براعة الإختزال بعبقرية أَخَّاذة، حيث انتهى بهذا العلم إلى أصول ثلاثة، هي: العامل والمعمول والعمل، لم يخرج في بحثه عنها، وعمَّا يتفرع عنها، وعَرْضِ مسائله فيها، ضمن ترتيب منطقي ونظام عقلي يتجلى في أثنائه علم النحو صافياً نقياً.
ولقد راق الكثير من دراسي العربية تتبع كتب هذه المدرسة العريقة، و"العوامل المئة" يكاد أن يكون المفتاح الأول فيها، لسهولة عبارته ووجازتها من جهة، ولإستيعابه وحصره للأصول من جهة أخرى.
