أكتب عن أقنعة الحياة عن الأقنعة التي يضعها الناس لك؛ حتى لا ترى ما يفعلون.. ما يشعرون، تصبح كالدمية تفعل أي شيء لكي يعجبوا بك، ولكن لماذا قررتَ وضع هذا القناع؟ لماذا جعلتَ لحياتك قناعًا مع مُضِيِّ الوقت لا تستطيع خلعه؟ لا تستطيع التنفس.. تريدهم أن يخلعوه، لكنهم لا يعرفون بوجوده، فتصبح أنت الوحيد الواقع في حفرة تدور حَوْلَ نفسك. لماذا أنا؟ لماذا أنا؟ نعم إنه أنت مَن وضع القناع لحياتك، أنت الذي أوقعتَ نفسك في هذه المشكلة، تسمع كل هذا كشريط يتكرر ويتكرر يقول معنًى لحياتك التي قد أضعتَها بحماقة تصرفك، فالحياة توجد لديها أقنعة كثيرة لا نراها، بل نعيشها. كتابتي عن هذه الأقنعة؛ لأنها بداخلنا، فهي كل وجه مِن وجوه الحياة، فهي الألم.. الخوف.. الحب والسعادة، تأخذنا مِن روحنا وعقلنا الكثير لتبقى روحنا متعبة، ووجهنا مغطًّى بقناع يسمَّى قناع الحياة؛ لنعيش به، ونخسر أنفسنا، وننسى مَن نحن، فهذه هي أقنعة الحياة.
