نظرأ لأهمية موضوع ومسائل الإيمان؛ فقد إعتنى بها علماء الإسلام، وصنفوها ضمن مباحث علم الإعتقاد. وفي (كتاب التأصيل في مسائل الإيمان والتفكير) تعرض الأستاذ الشيخ "سعيفان بن عايش"، لأهم مباحث الإيمان، واتبعها بقواعد وضوابط في التفكير، ومنها مسألة حكم تارك الصلاة، مسألة الحكم بغير ما أنزل الله، مسألة الخروج على الحاكم، مسألة موالاة الكفار والمشركين، مسألة سبَ الربَ والدين، وغيرها أيضاً. جاء عرض الكاتب لمبحث الإيمان موزعاً على أبواب مع الشرح، والدليل من كتاب الله (جل جلاله) وسنة نبيه (صلى الله عليه وسلم). ومن تلك الأبواب نذكر: باب:فضل تحصيل وتحقيق الإيمان الصحيح، باب الدليل على وجوب إعتقاد القلب، لتحقيق الإيمان، باب: الدليل على أن الإيمان لفظ باللسان، باب الإيمان يزيد بالطاعة، وينقض بالمعصية... باب: الوسوسة في قلب المؤمن؛ دلالة على صريح الإيمان، باب من مات على كبيرة من أهل القبلة من غير توبة، فهو في مشيئة الله، إن شاء غفر له…إلخ.
