إنطلاقاً من المسؤولية الملقاة على عاتقنا جميعاً - لا سيما علماء الدين، الذين قضَوْا شطراً كبيراً من أعمارهم في تحصيل العلم وأحكام الشريعة من أدلَّتها - في الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر، والدعوة إلى الإستقامة في جادة الشريعة المحمَديَة الخاتِمة، والتكامل في مدارج مكارم الأخلاق، كانت لنا محاضرةٌ أسبوعية بعنوان: (منبر الجمعة)، نختار فيها موضوعاتِ تُعنى بالجانب المعرفي والأخلاقي للإنسان، ونستوحي فيها من القرآن الكريم، وسُنَّة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وأهل بيته عليهم السلام، ومن سيرتهم أيضاً، ما من شأنه - إذا عُمل به - أن يُصلح حال الفرد والمجتمع، ويغيِّر ما هو عليه واقعُ الإنسان اليوم، من فسادٍ أخلاقيّ، وتفكُّكِ إجتماعيّ، وإختلالِ إقتصاديّ، وصولاً إلى التناحر السياسي والعسكريّ.
ومن أجواء الكتاب نقرأ: "الكلام هو صلة الوصل الرئيسة بين الناس لإفهام بعضهم البعض، وطلب الحوائج من أهلها، وإذا كانت العلاقة بين المتخاطبَيْن جيّدةً، وصافيةً من كلّ شائبةٍ - كالحَسَد والحِقْد والغَضَب و...، فمن الطبيعيّ أن يكون الحديث حديثَ مودّةٍ، بواسطة الكلام الطيِّب الليِّن، وأمّا إذا توتَّرت تلك العلاقة فسرعان ما يتبدَّل أسلوب الحديث من كلامٍ هادئ لطيف إلى كلامٍ قاسٍ عنيف، يتضمَّن أشكالاً من التهديد والوعيد، والسخرية والتحقير، واللَّعْن والسَّبّ، و...
