إن نبذة قصر العيني في القاهرة والجامعة الأمريكية في بيروت درستنا الطب بالعربية أول أنشأها ول تصفحنا الكتب التي القت أو ترجمت يوم كان الطب يدرس فيها باللغة العربية لوجدناها كتب ممتازة لا تقل جودة عن مثيلاتها من كتب الغرب في ذلك الحين سواء في الطبع أو حسن التغيير أو براعة الإيضاح ولكن هذين المعهدين تنكرا للغة العربية فيما بعد وسادت لغة المستعمر وفرضت على أبناء الأمسية فرضا إذا راى المستعمر أن في خنق اللغة العربية مجالا لعرقلة الأمة العربية.
كذلك فإستعمال اللغة العربية كلغة تدريس في جميع مراحل التعليم العام والمهني والجامعي مع العناية الكافية باللغة الأجنبية في جميع مراحل التعليم فتكون وسيلة الإطلاع على تطور التعليم والثقافة والإنفتاح على العالم وذلك يعتبر تأصيلا للفكر العلمي في البلاد وتمكينا للغة القومية في الإزدهار والقيام بدورها فيى التعبير عن حاجات المجتمع وألفاظ ومصطلحات الحضارة والعلوم.
لهذا واخيرا وتمشيا مع أهدافي فإني أدعم الإنتاج العلمي باللغة العربية وأتقدم بهذا القاموس الطبي للجيب في عصرالعولمة- إنجليزي، عربي ميسر البحث والإطلاع لجميع الدارسين بكليات الطب والصيدلة والعلوم وكليات الزراعة وكليات الدراسات الاجتماعية كذلك الدارسين بكليات ومعاهد التمريض.
