لقد صدرت هذه الطبعة الأولى من هذا المؤلف المعنون ب "محاضرات في أصول المنطق القانوني والبحث العلمي"، حيث تناولت فيه الأسس التي يستند إليها المنطق القانوني فيما يتعلق بتوضيح المقصود بالقانون، وأهدافه، وغاياته، ومصادره، وكيفية فهم نصوصه بصفة عامة باتباع قواعد التفسير والقياس للوصول إلى المعنى الذي يقصده المشرع، دون الوقوف عند المعنى الحرفي للنص، أي الأخذ بما يعرف بروح القانون، ثم تناولت أصول البحث العلمي بصفة عامة والقواعد التي يستند إليها، وأصول البحث العلمي في المجال القانوني بصفة خاصة ومناهجه، وإجراءاته، بحيث تكون مرشداً للباحثين في هذا المجال.
ولما كان موضوع المنطق القانوني والبحث العلمي ليس له إطار عام محدد من حيث نوعية الموضوعات التي يتناولها، لذا فقد اقتصرت على بعض الموضوعات المحددة التي تغطي جانباً منها، وذلك في ثلاثة فصول هي: الفصل الأول: المنطق القاوني، الفصل الثاني: أصول البحث العلمي بصفة عامة، أما الفصل الثالث والأخير: أصول البحث العلمي في المجال القانوني وإجراءاته تناولت فيه مفهوم البحث العلمي في المجال القانوني وخطوات إعداد البحث العلمي في المجال القانوني وأخلاقيات البحث العلمي وكيفية البحث القانوني على الشبكة الدولية للمعلومات (الإنترنت).
