يُعدّ الإنزياح من أهم المظاهر الأسلوبية التي تميز النصوص الشعرية، يتصرف فيه المبدع عبر تحكمه باللغة عن طريق إخراجها عما يعرف بأصل الإستعمال اللغوي، ويمكن القول إن الإنزياح يتحكم بدرجة الشعرية في النص، وقد برز اهتمام الشعرية المعاصرة - عبر الإنزياح - بوجوه الإختلاف بين اللغة المعيارية واللغة الشعرية، ليكون الإنزياح على وفق هذا المنظور ((فيصل ما بين الكلام الفني وغير الفني)).
إنّ من جمالية الصورة القائمة على الإنزياح التي يقتنصها المبدع أن تتركنا في تساؤل مستمر عن آلية هذا الإنزياح، إذ تبرز إزاء ذلك قدرة المتلقي على قراءة السطور أو المعاني الجديدة التي كتبها المبدع (بالحبر السري) بين السطور، أو تَمّثُل الصور الجديدة كأن هناك مرايا كثار عكست صوراً عدة يتمثّلها المتلقي ويتذوقها (لينزاح) من خلالها من قلق السؤال إلى إطمئنان الجواب.
إنّ الشعرية الحديثة تبرز المتلقي بوصفه قارئاً مشاركاً ومنتجاً لدلالة النص، ومن ثم إدراك الإنزياح بوساطة التأويل الذي يقوم به، فالإنزياح مرتبط إرتباطاً منطقياً بالمتلقي، إذ لا يمكن إدراكه إذا كان المتلقي غير عالم بآليته داخل النص، وكذلك درجة قبوله.
لذا، فإن في الإنزياح جهداً تأويلياً خاصاً يقوم به المتلقي بمساعدة عوامل عدة أهمها رصيده اللغوي القائم على الإلمام بالمستندات الأساسية التي يقوم عليها أي إنزياح بتجسداته المختلفة في النص، وعلى هذا الأساس فليس ثمّة إنزياح ما لم يكن هناك جهد تأويلي ناجح من لدن المتلقي ليتأنّى له إدراك الإنزياح، ومن ثم تذوقّه.
