... إن الإنسان أصبح إنساناً بداعي مجموعة من القابليات الراقية جداً التي ضخّت في خلقته.
والقرآن المجيد يقول: ﴿وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ﴾... فالإنسان له قابلية التفكير والتطلع والقدرة العلمية دون الحيوانات والنباتات والجماد ولهذا السبب يحترم الإنسان بما لا يحترم به الحيوان أو النبات، قال سبحانه: ﴿ وَعَلَّمَ آَدَمَ الْأَسْمَاءَ كُلَّهَا﴾... حيث علمه أسماءه وشؤونه.
إن الإنسان لا يعد إنساناً بجسمه وضخامة حجمه أو لأنه يمشي ويأكل ويتحدث... فهو بهذه القابليات وأمثالها إنسان بالقوة وليس بالفعل وعليه، فإن بإمكان ابن أدم أن يرتكب أفظع الجرائم بحق أخيه الإنسان بمعنى أن بمقدوره أن ينسلخ عن إنسانيته وفي الحقيقة يتنزل ويسقط من إنسانيته ليكون حيواناً، بل وحيواناً مفترساً فتاكاً.
وإن صار المرء كائناً مضاداً للعلم أصبح إنساناً ضد الإنسانية وهذا تعبير لا يصح في الغالب، والأصح أن يقال: حيوان وحش ضد الإنسان، وهو إنسان بالقوة ضد الإنسانية الواقعية والحقيقية.
