كتاب يبحث في التطورات التي طرأت على الأسرة في الغرب بسبب تغير الزمن وما طرأ من أحداث، ثم تأثير ذلك في الأسرة المسلمة من خلال العولمة والهيمنة والغزو الغربي.
ينقسم الكتاب بعد التمهيد إلى أربعة فصول، الأول ((مفهوم الأسرة في الإسلام)) قدمت فيه المؤلفة هذا المفهوم بوصفه إطارا تأصيليا، ثم من خلاله تناولت موضوع الكتاب الأساسي وهو تغيير مفهوم الأسرة في الغرب، وتحدثت عن مظاهر الخروج عن هذه المفاهيم. وتناولت في الفصل الثاني ((نشأة الحضارة الغربية)) وطأت له بإشارة عن سنن النهوض والإستبدال الحضاري ثم انتقلت إلى موضوع مراحل نشوء الحضارة الغربية بمرحلتيها القديمة والمعاصرة. وبحثت خلال الفصل الثالث في ((مصادر إتجاهات تغيير مفهوم الأسرة في الغرب)) فتوقفت عند مفهوم الأسرة لدى البروتستانت، ثم عند مفهوم الأسرة لدى أصحاب المادية اللادينية المانفستو والفلاسفة الشيوعيين. وختمت الكتاب بالفصل الرابع بموضوع ((تغيير مفهوم الأسرة في الغرب: إتجاهات معاصرة)) فتناولت فيه في المبحث الأول الحركة الأنثوية كالماسونية والشيوعية التي تهدف إلى تدمير الأسرة، فتحدثت عن جذور الفكر الأنثوي وبواكير الأنثوية والموجة الأنثوية الأولى، وفي المبحث الثاني تناولت الحركة الأنثوية لتغيير مفهوم الأسرة ونشأتها في منتصف القرن العشرين وتياراتها وأشكالها وتأثيرها في تفكيك الأبوية والدين واللغة والفن والأزياء وتفكيك الزواج والأسرة، وانتهت إلى موضوعات الجندر وإنجازات الحركة الأنثوية وتيار مناهضة الأنثوية في الغرب وعولمة الفكر الأنثوي. وختمت بنتائج وتوصيات.
