كل باحث يجد ما يبحث عنه في مخترعات "الخليل بن أحمد الفراهيدي"، على الرغم من كثرة الأبحاث عنها، فإبداع الخليل العلمي بعيد الغَوْر، واسع الأطراف، فيه مجال لكل دارس أن يدخل في بعد من أبعاده، ويبحث عما يريد؛ فهو كالقاموس المحيط، يسع كل فلك... والجنّة العظيمة فيها كل زهر... وكالعين الثجّاجة، الفيّاضة... لا تملّ ولا تكلّ عن العطاء...
فاللغة العربية مدينة للخليل بنحوها الذي أتمّ تأسيسه، ثم بنى بناءه الشامخ مع تلميذه سيبويه؛ وعلم العروض اخترعه قالباً للشعر، ومستودعاً لوحي الشاعر، يودع فيه هديل قلبه، وعويل نفسه، ويسكب فيه شعوره وصرخته وشكواه؛ وعلم الخليل في الموسيقى، استقى منه الموسيقيون وأصحاب الأصوات، أجمل الأنغام والألحان.
وجمع الخليل ثروة اللغة العربية، ورتّبها، وصنّفها، فكان ذلك أساساً لعلم المعاجم، وفقه اللغة، وعلم الأصوات؛ وترجم المترجمون للخليل في كتب التراجم والطبقات والتاريخ... وكتب الباحثون عنه وعن علمه الأبحاث... وأشاد بذكره وعلمه دوائر المعارف والعلوم والفنون... ومع ذلك فإنه لا يزال يمنح بسخاء... فكأنهم لم يسبروا غور علمه، ولا وصلوا إلى قرار إبداعه، ولا كشفوا عن مخدّرات فنونه.
وهذا بُحَيْث عن معجم العين للخليل، وما نسج حوله من قصص وآراء ثابتة أو مهزوزة... لعلّه يضيف إلى العلوم الإنسانية في هذا المجال أمراً جديداً... وفكراً حرّاً سديداً.
