وتناول الفصل الثالث، طرق حماية المنشآت في الريف، ووسائل الحؤول دون انتشاره، وزيادة في الإيضاح تم إلحاق الدراسة بجداول معلومات توضيحية، تناولت تفاصيل ومتطلبات حماية العناصر الإنشائية، المشادة من مواد الإنشاء الرئيسية، من أخطار الحريق، وهي عناصر لواحدة من منشآت أربع: بيتونية، معدنية، خشبية، وحجرية.
