مؤلف كتاب "القدس الشريف في الاستشراق اليهودي"، د.
محمد رضوان، هو كاتب وصحافي مغربي، حاصل على دكتوراة الدولة في العلوم السياسية من جامعة الحسن الثاني بالدار البيضاء (المغرب)، وشارك في دورات دراسية بالمعهد الدولي لحقوق الإنسان بستراسبورغ (فرنسا)، وأكاديمية لاهاي للقانون الدولي والعلاقات الدولية (هولندة)، فضلا عن مشاركته في ندوات داخل المغرب وخارجه.
وهو إلى نشاطه العلمي، يشتغل الكاتب في حقل الصحافة منذ أزيد من 20 عاما بوكالة المغرب العربي للأنباء (وكالة الأنباء المغربية).
وللمؤلف إصدارات علمية متعددة، منها كتاب "منازعات الحدود في العالم العربي"، الصادر عن دار النشر إفريقيا الشرق (1996)، وكتاب "المبادئ العامة للقانون الدولي الإنساني والعدالة الدولية"، دار النشر إفريقيا الشرق (2010)، وكتاب "أوهام الغرب عن الإسلام، بحث في جذور معاداة الثقافة الإسلامية في الغرب"، مطبعة الأندلس بالدار البيضاء (2013)، إلى جانب طبعة إلكترونية لنفس الكتاب صدرت عن إحدى دور النشر الإلكترونية بلندن (بريطانيا).

إن الشابي رغم رومانسيته المطلقة إلا أنه كان في نفس الوقت شاعراً ثورياً ينادي بالحرية لكل المقهورين.
وفي هذا الكتاب يقدم لنا الأديب محمد رضوان سيرة الشابي وأهم المؤثرات التي صنعت شاعريته وما قدمه للشعر العربي المعاصر رغم رحيله في عمر الزهور، كما يقدم النص الأصلي الكامل لديوانه(أغاني الحياة) ثم أعماله الشعرية والنثرية المجهولة التي لم يحتوها ديوانه الوحيد.
إن الشابي وسيظل دائماً صوت الثورة والحب والحرية في كل زمان ومكان ولهذا اكتسب شعره البقاء والخلود.
