من أجل تمكين رجال القانون من أداء رسالتهم في أكمل صورة، وإذ كان الفقه الجنائي قد تعرض للنظريات العامة ومدى انطباقها على القانون. وقضاء النقض في تطبيق تلك النصوص بفيض من الأحكام ذات المبادئ. فإننا نتناول الجانب العلمي في القانون لأهميته في تسهيل مهمة من يمارس القانون في الواقع العملي.
وفي سبيل الربط بين النصوص القانونية- والتي هي في غالبيتها مستوحاة من تشريعات أجنبية، وبين خبرتنا القضائية المصرية الثمينة التي حصلناها طوال تلك الفترة غير القصيرة- تقوم الحاجة إلى الإحاطة بإيضاح علمي وعملي لموجز للجرائم التقليدية التي تزايد ارتكابها في هذا العصر وجرائم التكنولوجيا الحديثة، وذلك في ضوء أحكام الفقه وقضاء النقض المستقر بإيجاز لا يخل بالأركان التي يجب توافرها في كل جريمة والجانب العملي الذي يسعى إليه رجل القانون في سهولة ويسر سواء كان عضواً بهيئة قضائية أم محامياً أو في إدارة قانونية.. الخ.
وعلى ذلك سوف نتناول الجرائم الجنائية في العصر الحديث في ضوء أحكام الفقه والقضاء، ونرجئ التطبيقات القضائية لها في جزء مستقل لما سيكون له الفائدة العملية بعد شرح الجرائم ثم دراسة الدعوى الجنائية حتى صدور حكم بات فيها في الجزء الخاص بالإجراءات الجنائية أمام القضاء وذلك بالإضافة إلى الجزء الخاص بأحكام محكمة النقض.
