إننا لسنا فى العالم الآخر.. إن الحياة لم تتوقف.. وعدت من الشرفة، لأبحث عن أمى وأبشرها بأن الحياة لم تتوقف.. إن بابها مغلق.. اغلقوه بالمفتاح حتى لا أصل إليها.. ووقفت طويلاً أمام الباب.. ثم أقنعت نفسى.. أقنعت نفسى بأنها ماتت..
أمى.. ماتت..
وعدت أطوف بحجرات البيت.. وفى الحجرة التى تعودت أن تجلس فيها لتقرأ وجدت نظارتها موضوعة فوق العددين الأخيرين من روز اليوسف وصباح الخير.. وأخذت النظارة.. ووضعتها فى جيبى.. إنها لا تزال فى جيبى إلى الآن.. لعلى أرى بها ما كانت تراه..
