دراستنا هذه تدور حول تطور الدراسات الفلسفية في دولتي المرابطين والموحّدين، وهو موضوع تاريخي وفكري، ويستحق التأمل، وفي علمنا، لم يسبق لأحد أن تطرق إلى الدراسات الفلسفية في هذه المدة من التاريخ العربي الإسلامي، بصيغة مجتمعة؛ لأن الدراسات الفلسفية في عهد الموحّدين، كانت مكملة لدراسات عهد المرابطين، وامتداد فكرياً وتاريخياً وحضارياً لها، وجلّ الدراسات لم تكشف عن التطور الفلسفي لهذه المدة، وقد أقدمتُ على الموضوع، وأنا في حيرة من أمري، وصراع مع نفسي، خشية أن تصرفني ندرة المادة العلمية عن إماطة اللثام من تاريخ هذه المرحلة، لكنْ؛ بعون الله وتوفيقه، عثرتُ على المصادر، والمراجع، التي شملت معظم اتجاهات الموضوع، فتاريخ الفلسفة العام، هو تاريخ الفكر البشري في نشأته ونموه، وتطوره، ومعرفة العوامل التي رافقته، وتركت فيه طابعاً خاصاً، وأثراً بيّناً، يدرسه المدقّقون من خلال حياة المفكرين المتفوقين الذين تأملوا ظواهر الكون، وسعوا لسبر أغوارها، وكشف أسرارها، وتوضيح مصادرها وعللها، واقتفوا أثر الحقيقة أنّى كانت، فأوجدوا مباحث، مهدت الطريق المؤدية إلى تهذيب المنطق، وتربية الأخلاق وتطهيرها، وإزاحة الكثير من السدول عن وجه الحقيقة، فالحقيقة واحدة، لا تتجزأ، وثابتة على مر الدهور، لا تتبدل، والعقل الإنساني يقود إلى معرفتها.
