يقول المولى المعظم الامام الاعظم حلال المشكلات كشاف المعضلات قدوة المحققين برهان الملة والدين احمد بن الحسن الجاربريدى متع الله المسلمين بطول بقائه لما كان كتاب التصريف الذي صنفه الفاضل المحقق والعالم المدقق علامة الورى جمال الدين ابو عمرو عثمان بن الحاجب رفعه الله تعالى مكانا عليا مع صغر حجمهووجازة نطه مشتملا على فوائد شريفة* وقواعد لطيفة" محتويا على دقايق الاسرار العربية منطويا على المباحث التى هى مفتاح العلوم الادبية ولم يتفق له شرك يذللك صعابه ويخرج من قشره لبابه فخدارته بعد لم يكشف في شرح عنها القناع فلينظر في شرح مواضعه المشكلة من يدور في خلده افكار ونزاع ومستتراته لم يبرز هن شارح الى هذه الاوان لم يطمئن انس قبلهم ولا جان ثم اشار الى جمع الفضلاء ان اكتب له شرحا ينحل به الفاظن ومعانيه وينكشف عباراته ومبانية وكنت اتعلل بلعل وعمى وسوف وربما وذلك لصعوبة المسلك ووعورة المرتقى حتى تواسلوا بما لا تسعنى معه المخالفة وكان ذلك مظنة من الله تعالى بالمعاونة وحاولت الوصول إلى حضرت من خصه الله تعالى باوفر حظ الله من العلى.
