لغة الجسد، هى الاتصال غير اللفظى، ويقصد بغير اللفظى: الإيماءات والإشارات والوضعيات والتعابير التى تصدر من شخص ما سواء كان ذلك بإرادته أم لا. إن لغة الجسد يمكن أن تكون لغة الحوار الوحيدة التى منحها الله سبحانه وتعالى للبشر، فهى الطريقة الوحيدة التى يمكن أن يتفاهم بها شخصين مختلفين فى اللغة، فيسهل على كل منهما فهم الآخر بالإشارات وتعبير الوجه، فأنت تستطيع بسهولة أن تشعر هل الشخص الذى أمامك حزيناً أم سعيداً، خائفاً أم غاضباً.
فى الثلاثينات من القرن الماضى مثلا قدم شارلي شابلن مجموعة من الأفلام الكوميدية التى لعب فيها شخصية الصعلوك، فالجمهور أحبه وفهمه بالرغم من أنه فنان صامت، وشخصية الصعلوك لا تتحدث بل تقفز وتستبدل الكلمات بالأفعال.
فمع تطور العلم أصبحت لغة الجسد موضوع يشغل العلماء، وتحول علم يدرس فى الجامعات وأصبح لكل حركة أو إشارة معنى وهدف، فحركة واحدة بالرأس قد تغنى عن عشرات الكلمات، ولهذا قد تجد فى هذا الكتاب فكرة مبسطة عن حركات أجزاء الجسد ومعانيها (لغة الجسد). فتعال نتصفح هذا الكتاب معاً لعله يفتح المجال أمامك لتنشغل بهذا الموضوع الشيق.
