هذا الكتاب محاولة متواضعة فى شق هذا الطريق الجديد- الأصيل فى دراسات الإعلام الإسلامى,قسمناه إلى ثلاثة أقسام: تناولنا فى القسم الأول منها.. ماهية الإعلام الإسلامى فى ضوء الدعوة الإسلامية, ودراسات الاتصال الحديثة, وذلك أن الاتصال هو حامل العملية الاجتماعية.
أما القسم الثانى فقد خصصناه لدراسة التفسير الإعلامى للبعثة النبوية الشريفة, والاتصال الشخصى فى الدعوة الإسلامية. كما تناولنا بالدراسة الاتصال الإسلامى بين دعم الاتجاهات وتغييرها, وقدمنا دراسة تطبيقية للأساليب الإعلامية فى الدعوة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة, مواصلين بذلك دراسة الإعلام فى مراحل تطوره من مكة إلى المدينة. ولقد خصصنا القسم الثالث لدراسة الإعلام الإسلامى و الحضارات الاتصالية, بهدف التعرف على الوسائل الإعلامية التى واكبت الغعلام الإسلامى مى مسيرته عبر العصور. فخصصنا باباً فى هذا القسم لدراسة الإعلام الإسلامى فى الحضارة السمعية, درسنا فيه بالضرورة بلاغة الرسول (صلى الله عليه وسلم), والاتصال الشخصى, كما درسنا الخطابة الإسلامية, و الإعلام الجمعى, والإعلام الشعرى, والحرب النفسية, والمدائح النبوية فى التفسير الإعلامى. وخصصنا باباً أخر فى هذا القسم كذلك لدراسة الإعلام الإسلامى وحضارة التدوين, درسنا فيه السيرة النبوية كنموذج تطبيقى من نماذج الإعلام الإسلامى فى هذه الحضارة الاتصالية, ثم فى غيرها من الحضارات الاخرى.
