These are brief pages that evolve around one axis, i.e. Egypt's political stability. I found it proper to send them as a message to all Egyptians in circumstances that our homeland witnesses, with a difficult trial for the solidity of its sons and the steadfastness of its classes. It is a homeland that already has passed through the toughest dilemmas and the most difficult crises. I have chosen as a title for these pages: " Islam in a changing world " so that the background of what is going on in our land will be obvious for those who have insight. International and regional changes deserve that we should be aware of the interrelation between the inside and the outside and perceive the nature of the world around us. May God protect Egypt and its great people in order to continue being-as it always has been- a secure country that incessantly gives to the world as long as its Nile flows and as long as its pyramids persist.
