هذا الكتاب هو دراسة نتاج أديب عراقي حي بعينه هو القاص عبد الرحمن مجيد الربيعي، أحد كبار كتاب القصة القصيرة، والرواية، في الأدب العراقي، كان ثمرتها كتاباً عنوانه «عبدالرحمن مجيد الربيعي والنص المتعدد». فالربيعي ذو نتاج غزير متنوع، وإن عرف روائياً، وكاتباً للقصة القصيرة، إذ له، ما عدا القصص والروايات، محاولات في النثر الشعري، وكتابات في النقد الأدبي، ومؤلفات في السيرة الذاتية وما يدخل في بابها، فضلاً عن أعمدته الصحفية التي كتبها بغزارة، وما زال يكتبها، في الصحف والمجلات. ويكاد نتاجه، في هذه الأنواع، يشكل نصف نتاجه العام، الذي وصل إلى أكثر من ثلاثين كتاباً منشوراً. خمسة محاور.
ويتألف كتاب «عبد الرحمان مجيد الربيعي والنص المتعدد» من خمسة محاور دراسية، هي: المحور السردي (ثلاث دراسات)، والمحور السير ذاتي (دراستان)، والمحور الشعري (دراستان)، والمحور النقدي (دراستان)، ومحور التجربة والأدوات (دراستان). وقد شارك في كتابة هذه الدراسات أحد عشر باحثاً، من بينهم الدكتور محمد صابر عبيد نفسه، وتصدرتها شهادة له عن الربيعي الأديب والإنسان. وهي تتراوح بين دراسة كلية تعنى بظاهرة من ظواهر أدب الربيعي، وأخرى جزئية تعنى بدراسة كتاب من كتبه أو نص من نصوصه. - جريدة الدستور
