هذا الواقع الهلامي الذي اختلطت فيه الرؤية والذي سادت فيه مفاهيم ومصطلحات بعيدة كل البعد عن معناها الحقيقي يجعل من هذا الكتاب دراسة معمّقة جهد مؤلفه فيه بحثاً وتنقيباً ليزيل ما اكتنف هذه المفاهيم من غموض والتباس أريدَ بها غير الحقيقة منها. فبرأي المؤلف: " ... إن خفاء الحقائق والتباس المفاهيم نابع من أحد عيبين خطيرين هما: أزمة في المعرفة، أو أزمة في الخُلق، ذلك أنه في بعض الحالات تتبين الحقيقة العلمية لكل ذي عينين، ولكن الإباء والإستكبار يكونان مانعاً أخلاقياً عن اعتناقها (...). أما إذا كان الإلتباس في هذه المفاهيم ناتجاً عن جانب معرفي علميّ تآمره أيسر وخطبه أهون، فما هو غلا أن تبين وتوضح الأمور بحجمها حتى يهتدي الضال ويتسقيم المعوج".
