كلّما زادت معرفتنا وفهمنا لعوامل النمو الطبيعي للطفل، كنا أكثر قدرة على مساعدته؛ وبالتالي فإنه من الضروري أن نتعرف على احتياجات الطفل الأساسية، مثل الحب والأمان والصحة، وكذلك التأديب والتوجيه والتهذيب، ويصل بالتدريج إلى الاعتماد على نفسه. وفي هذا الكتاب نجد دراسة نافعة ممتعة تبين كيف تتكامل عوامل النموّ العاطفيّ والعقليّ للطفل لتجعل منه شخصاً سويّاً يسعد بالمجتمع، ويسعد به المجتمع. إنه كتاب مفيد ومهم لكل فرد من أفراد الأسرة.
