لم يفرق الله في شريعته الاسلامية بين عربي واعجمي فكان القول الفاصل هو ان أحسننا عند الله أتقاناه وبناء على هذا المبدأ تتنحى كل أسباب الفرقة من لون وعرق ونسب لتبقى الرابطة الأقوى وهى الدين الاسلامي ليعلو فوق كل شئ فتكون جبهة الدول التى أغرها الله بالاسلام جبهة واحدة وهذا هو ما ينطبق على الوطن العربي بدولة وعلاقاته مع الدولة الايرانية وفي محاولة للتعلم من الماضي واستيعاب الدورس التاريخية قام مؤلف الكتاب د. محمد حسن العيدروس بتلك الدراسة متناولا تلك العلاقات بدءا من العام 1737م متخذا التدخل الفارسي في الشئون العمانية بداية لداسته، ليتدرج بعد ذلك في دراسة التطور السياسي للدولة الايرانية تجاه دولة البحرين منذ فتح العتوب وحتى الاستقلال وصولا إلى النفوذ الأجنبي وابن سعود عام 1914. ليس هذا فحسب وانما أيضا نجد سياسة التوسع والادعاءات مع الجزر العربية والعراق، منهيا دراسته بنظرة على الجهود العربية - العربية لإنهاء الحرب العراقية - الايرانية.
