يشتمل هذا الكتاب على أعمال حلقة النقاش التي أقامها المركز في بيروت على مدى يومين بعنوان "منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية: تقييم التجربة وإعادة البناء". وقد شارك في الحلقة نحو ثمانين خبيراً ومتخصصاً ومهتماً بالشأن الفلسطيني، ناقشوا 16 ورقة عمل عالجت تجربة منظمة التحرير وآفاق إعادة بنائها من زوايا مختلفة وخصوصاً من وجهة نظر القوى والفصائل الفاعلة على الساحة الفلسطينية.
وقد أضيف لهذا الكتاب أبرز الملاحظات والتعليقات التي أبدأها المناقشون، وكذلك أبرز الردود والتوضيحات التي ذكرها مقدمو الأوراق.
في هذا الكتاب يلتقي مجموعة من المتخصصين والباحثين الناشطين والمهتمين بالشأن الفلسطيني، ليدرسوا تجربة منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية ويقيمونها، وليتطلعوا إلى آفاق الاتقاء بها وتفعيلها.
