كانت الصدفة وحدها هى التى قادتني لأن اكون هناك في قلب الأحداث.. وأن ألتقي بقيادات جبهة الإنقاذ الوطني الجزائرية.. وعدد من المقربين إلى الدوائر الرسمية.. كان اللقاء عن قرب.. لذلك تدفقت على رأيي معلومات كثيرة .. وبطريقة كثيفة .. جعلتني اكون واحدا من الذين عاصروا الأحداث وأمسكوا بخيوط تاريخية للعنف في الجزائر ودور الحكومات المتعاقبة في إذكاء نار التطرف ووضع الجزائر في هذا المضمار الذي اصطبغ بلون الدم والتوتر.. وكنت على يقين خلال متابعتي ان ما تنقله وكالات الأنباء وشاشات التليفزيون ليس إلا جزءا من الحقيقة ، اما الأجزاء الباقية فهي موضوع هذا الكتاب الذي آمل أن يكون إضافة للمكتبة العربية في إطار ما احاول ان أسهم به في بناء مشروع يتحدث عن كل الأوجاع العربية ، أمسك بمشرط الجراح في يد .. وابتكار العلاج في اليد الأخرى.
