يخبرني من حولي أن الهذيان تملَّك مني، ولا أملك القدرة على تمييز الأشياء حولي، أثور سريعًا ثم أضحك حد البكاء، أصدقهم القول فهم أدرى بحالي مني خاصة في تلك الفترة التي أصير فيها غير قادر على مقاومة النوم، كل الطرق باءت بالفشل، هأنا مستيقظ لليوم الثالث على التوالي، وأخاف أن أسقط في غفوة جديدة، أتساءل: ما فائدتي في تلك الحياة إن كنت سأظل في كرٍّ وفرٍّ غير قادر على ممارسة حياتي الطبيعية؟ لماذا وُجد الخوف من الأساس؟!!
