البُلْقِيني (791 - 868 هـ = 1389 - 1464 م)
صالح بن عمر بن رسلان البلقيني الشافعيّ شيخ الإسلام: قاض، من العلماء بالحديث والفقه، مصري. تفقه بأخيه عبد الرحمن بالقاهرة، وناب عنه في الحكم، ثم تصدر للإفتاء والتدريس بعد موته (سنة 824 هـ وولي قضاء الديار المصرية سنة 825 - 827 وعزل وأعيد ست مرات، وتوفي وهو على القضاء. من كتبه (ديوان خطب) ستة مجلدات، و (ترجمة والده - خ) مجلد، و (ترجمة أخيه) مجلد، و (الغيث الجاري على صحيح البخاري) مجلدان، و (الجوهر الفرد فيما يخالف فيه الحرّ العبد - خ) رسالة، و (تتمة التدريب - خ) أكمل به كتاب أبيه، و (التجرد والاهتمام بجمع فتاوي الوالد شيخ الإسلام) و (التذكرة - خ) و (القول المقبول فيما يدعى فيه بالمجهول - خ) ذكرهما بروكلمن. توفي بالقاهرة

Book Description
كان السراج البلقيني من هؤلاء الذين تقلدوا أعلى المناصب العلمية وأرفعها من قضاء العسكر، وقضاء الشافعية، وقضاء الديار المصرية، وولاية دار العدل والإفتاء، ولكنه لم تتآلف نفسه مع تلك المناصب وانكب على التدريس والإفتاء، فلا غرو أن حاز الإفتاء الأكبر من اهتمامه، ونال القدح المعلى من اعتنائه، فقلد كان يكتب كل يوم من بعد العصر إلى قريب من العشاء الآخرة، وربما كتب أكثر من خمسين فتوى، من أجل ذلك أولى أولاده وطلبته من بعده عنايتهم بجمع فتاويه وحصرها مع صعوبة ذلك لتجاوزها آلافًا كثيرة، ولكنهم حاولوا أن يجمعوا أهمها وأشهراها وألصقها بالواقع الذي كان أستاذهم يعاصره، وهذا المجموع يعد من أهم ما كمل من تراث شيخ الإسلام سراج الدين البلقيني.
وهذا الكتاب إضافة غضة يانعة إلى تراث الإفتاء المصري، والمذهب الشافعي، والمكتب الإسلامي، حوى فتاوى جادة قديمة معاصرة، مشتهرة ونادرة، ولطائف باهرة، ونكات مبهرة، وتخريجات على أصول المذهب لم يسبق إليها ببادرة، واستباطات جديدة وفهوم عجيبة لقضايا كانت لأهل العلم محيرة، فالكتاب في الجملة حسنة من حسنات السراج البلقيني، وصالحة من صالحاته.
