قد نبحث عن الحضارة المصرية القديمة بين صفحات كتب التاريخ، وقد تذهب إلى المتاحف لنرى بأعيننا آثار تلك الحضارة.. وقد نبحث فى العديد من المراجع والدراسات لنقتقى آثار تمثال أو مومياء من تاريخ اكتشافها أو ما عرف عنها من معلومات.. ولكن من المؤكد أننا إذا أردنا الثلاثة (كتب التاريخ روؤية الاثار ومعرفة المعلومات والبيانات المتوفرة عن كل أثر) سنجدها فى هذا الكتاب الذى بين يدينا الآن. فقد جمع ما يخص ديانة قدماء المصريين وبالأخص الدلتا بين طياته. ففى بدايته قدم الدراسة التاريخية عن ديانة هذه المنطقة وأقاليمها وآلهتها كل على حدة. تلاها المعلومات فى جداول منظمة احتوت رقم الأثر وتاريخ الاكتشاف ثم وصف الأثر ومكان اكتشافه ومكانه الحالى وأيضا المادة المصنوع منها الأثر. أما في الجزء الأخير فنجد الصور لكل غله على حدة بجميع أشكاله وهيئاته ليكون كتاباً موفراً للوقت والجهد شاملاً لما يريده الباحثون والهواة على حد سواء.
