لم يشذ المؤلفان ميخائيل بار زوهار ونسيم ميشعال في كتابهما «الموساد: أكبر مهام جهاز المخابرات الإسرائيلية» عن القاعدة الأساسية غير المكتوبة والمتعارف عليها بالنسبة إلى دولة الكيان الإسرائيلي؛ ألا وهي تمجيد أعمال الموساد القذرة وإظهار الجرائم التي يرتكبها ضد العالم كما لو أنها أعمال نبيلة تهدف إلى حماية حق هذه الدولة الغاصبة بالوجود.
إلا أن نشر هذا الكتاب باللغة العربية يهدف إلى تسليط الضوء على عدوانية هذا الجهاز تجاه العرب خصوصاً والعالم عموماً؛ ففيه عرض لبعض الأفكار والأساليب الجهنمية التي مارسها قادته عبر التاريخ، ولأهم عمليات تصفية الحسابات بين الإسرائيليين وفلول النازية من أمثال أدولف ايخمان وهربرتز كوكورز، بالإضافة إلى عرضه محاولات الموساد المستمرة لإعاقة البرنامج النووي الإيراني عبر اغتيال ماجد شهرياري الرئيس العلمي للمشروع النووي الإيراني عام 2010، وداريوش رضائي نجاد في العام 2011؛ وهو الشخصية الرئيسية في البرنامج النووي الإيراني، والدكتور اردشير حسين بور الخبير في الكهرومغناطسية، فضلاً عن عمليات أخرى تهدف إلى إرسال مواد معيبة تعيق العمل في المفاعلات عن طريق شركات وهمية أنشأها الموساد لتحقيق هذه الغاية.
هذا ويعرض الكتاب في فصوله العديدة تفاصيل بعض المحاولات المستمرة لتصفية قادة المقاومة الفلسطينية من محاولة اغتيال رئيس المكتب السياسي في حركة حماس خالد مشعل إلى اغتيال فتحي الشقاقي مؤسس حركة الجهاد الإسلامي في فلسطين وصولاً إلى اغتيال محمود المبحوح القيادي في كتائب عز الدين القسام وذلك في دبي فضلاً عن قصة تصفية باسل الكبيسي وعلي حسن سلامة. أما على الجبهة السورية، فيعرض الكتاب لتصفية العميد محمد سليمان المستشار المقرب من الرئيس الأسد للشؤون الأمنية والعسكرية. كما يتطرق المؤلفان إلى محاولة اغتيال القائد العسكري لحزب الله عماد مغنية الفاشلة التي أودت بحياة شقيقه، قبل التمكن من النيل منه في دمشق في 12 فبراير 2008، والكثير غيرها من العمليات...
