القرية الجنوبية، بكل حكاياها وقصص أهلها، ببساطة الناس وطيبتهم، بشعرائها ورجالاتها، بالأمكنة التي غيرتها الأحداث والظروف والأزمنة التي تعاقبت عليها.
تلك الحقبة من الزمن الجميل، الذي مر كحلم، ولن يعود.
هو ليس كتاب تاريخ ولا كتاب سيرة ذاتية ولا رواية، بل كتاب أراد منه الكاتب، الإضاءة على حقبة جميلة من الماضي، انطبعت في ذاكرته، وأحب أن يشاركه فيها الكثير من الأشخاص الذين عاشوها وعاصروها، والكثير من الجيل الصاعد، الذي لم يكن موجودا أنذاك، والذي سيستمتع بمعرفة ما عاشه الأباء والأجداد، وكيف وصل زمانه ومكانه إلى ما وصل إليه.
