نتيجة لعدم إلمام الناس بالقانون يخسر الكثير منهم حقوهم المجازة قانوناً، ناهيك عن تعرصهم لحالات النصب والإحتيال لجهلهم بقانون العقود وكل ما يتعلق بالمعاملات التجارية والمدنية من شروط وإلتزامات وتعويضات.
إضافة إلى أن هناك الكثير من الأخطاء ترتكب نتيجة تقصير عاملي الإدارات والمؤسسات والشركات والمستشفيات والحرفيين والعمال وغيرهم، ولعدم التبليغ ومحاسبة المخالفين والمطالبة بالتعويض عن الضرر سواء كان الضرر معنوياً أو مادياً، يلاحظ أن هذه الأخطاء في تزايد نسبي وبشكل ملحوظ.
ومن أجل تقليص هذه الأخطاء لا بد من نشر الوعي القانوني وما يترتب من مسؤولية على المقصرين وتعويض للطرف الضحية، ثم تكملة مواضيع هذا الكتاب من خلال مراجع قانونية محلية وعربية وقانون الكومنولث وقوانين أخرى دولية، ولكي يستوعب القارئ، تم شرح المواضيع المتناولة بشكل مبسط مع التدعيم بالأمثلة والأسئلة والأجوبة والنماذج، حتى يسهل على القارئ فهمها وإستيعابها دون الحاجة إلى تفسير المدلالات ونية المشرع حيث تم شرحها بلغة غير القانونيين.
