يعتمد هذا الكتاب منهاج المديرية العامة للتعليم المهني والتقني الجديد في لبنان، ويتوجه إلى الطلبة في المرحلة الثانوية (البكالوريا الفنية) في المحاسبة والمعلوماتية وتكنولوجيا المعلوماتية والبيع والعلاقات التجارية وغيرها من الاختصاصات.
قسمت المؤلفة كتابها إلى فصول ستة، بالإضافة إلى تمهيد بالتفاصيل وتقديم، وباقة من المسائل القانونية وأسئلة تتعلق بالشركات التجارية ونماذج امتحانات الشهادة الرسمية من عام 2002 حتى عام 2011. وقد اعتمدت المؤلفة أيضاً على مراجع ومصادر عامة ومتخصصة، في أغلبها باللغة العربية والفرنسية معاً، بعد أن أخضعت مواد هذا الكتاب لتجارب تطبيقية عديدة، في المعاهد الفنية، كان قوامها طلابها، وهذا ما يميز هذا الكتاب عن كتب تعلَيمية أخرى.
