مبعث إهتمامى بتناول أحكام جرائم القتل العمد فى الشريعة الإسلامية مقارنة بأحكامها فى القانون الوضعى, أنها أهم جرائم القسم الجنائى المنبوذ والمفترى عليه فى الشريعة, فهذا القسم فى رأى جمهور القانونيين لا يتفق مع عصرنا الحاضر, ولا يصلح للتطبيق الأن, ولا يبلغ مستوى القوانين الوضعية. وهى عقيدة خاطئة تكشف عن جهل بأحكام الشريعة الجنائية. ومن ثم فقد رأيت التصدى لهذه العقيدة الظالمة, ودحضها ببيان شاف كاف يثبت تفوق أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية فى قسمها الجنائى, وبخاصة من أهم جرائمه "القتل العمد", على القوانين الوضعية, وصلاحيتها للتطبيق فى الحاضر والمستقبل, كما كانت صالحة كل الصلاحية فى الماضى.
وسوف نتناول موضوع الكتاب فى ثلاثة أقسام: القسم الأول القتل العمد فى الشريعة الإسلامية. القسم الثانى: القتل العمد فى القانون الجنائى المصرى. القسم الثالث: أحكام محكمة النقض فى جرائم القتل العمد.. ملحقاً بها أحكام بعض قضايا القتل الشهيرة.
