حول الموضوع نفسه، من وجهة نظر عامة، يمكن القول: إن القانون الدولي الجنائي يشكل فرعاً متكاملاً للقانون الدولي، وهو ينظم التعاون بين الدول في مجال التحقيق والقبض على الأشخاص الطبيعيين ومعاقبتهم بغض النظر عن مناصبهم باعتبارهم الشخصيات المسؤولة عن ارتكاب الجرائم والجرائم ذات الطابع الدولي.
