يتضمن هذا الكتاب الذي يستند أساساً إلى مصادر أجنبية حديثة غير مترجمة إلى العربية، ثلاثة فصول وملحق، الفصل الأول قراءة في نص الحوار الصحفي الأخير مع جاك دريدا قبل موته في اكتوبر عام 2004، والثاني بحث نقدي في الترجمات العربية لأهم مصطلحات دريدا، وهما DECONSTRUCTION الذي ترجم إلى العربية بأكثر من صيغة وأكثرها شيوعاً "التفكيك" (فضلاً عن التقويض، النقض، التشريح، اللابناء...) حيث يبين الباحث أفضلية ترجمته إلى "التقويض" بالإستناد إلى بحث تفصيلي يستند إلى المعنى الجوهري لهذا المصطلح المحوري.
فضلاً عن المصطلح الرئيسي الآخر الذي نحته دريدا وهو DIFFÉRANCE (الإختلاف المرجأ) والذي ترجم إلى العربية بأكثر من 15 بديلاً يتناولها الباحث أيضاً.
والفصل الثالث نبذة عن فلسفة (ألان باديو) ALAIN BADIOU التي تعتبر من أبرز الفلسفات العالمية المعاصرة، والتي تتعارض مع فكر دريدا وفلسفته فضلاً عن مناهضتها لمجمل النزعات التأويلية وما بعد الحداثية، رغم أنها نشأت وتطورت في أحضان ما بعد البنيوية.
أما الملحق فهو نص الحوار الصحفي الأخير مع جاك دريدا مع هوامش وشروح إضافية للمؤلف.
