شهدت الساحة الأدبية في الآونة الأخيرة ظهور أنماط مختلفة للنص تنسب للشعرية العربية، هذه الأنماط كانت سببا في تغيير وجهة التلقي، فقد تغيرت وظيفة التلقي للنصوص، وكذلك الأدوات المعيارية التي تقاس بها درجة الشعرية في ظل التغاير الذي أحدثه النص الحداثي في قيمة الكلمة، أو اللفظة التي تستخدم في البناء النصي.
وتقدم هذه الدراسة للمتلقي العربي قراءات نقدية لنصوص حداثية وفق منهجية جديدة ثار حولها الجدل، وحظيت بالعديد من الدراسات النظرية التي تؤطر لها، ولكن على مستوى التطبيق حظيت بفقر شديد، فشرعت الدراسة في تقديم أربع قراءات تفكيكية لأربعة دواوين يعد أصحابها من شعراء الحداثة، والنص الحافز الذي يقع في دائرة الدراسة تنوع بين شعر التفعيلة وقصيدة النثر، وعبر عن ثلاثة أجيال شعرية: السبعينات والثمانينات والتسعينات.
