وركبنا تراما تحت الأرض ، تخيلوا تراما يمشي تحت الأرض وفوقنا البيوت والسيارات والبني آدمين واندهشت البنت لدهشتى فقالت: الا تحفرون الأرض في بلادكم؟ قلت : نعم نحفرها باستمرار وستجدين في كل شارع الف حفرة وحفرة واسماها العلمى مطبات ولذلك ستجدين في كل مدينة مائة الف أعرج وأعوج ولانها حفريات اثرية فنحن نحافظ عليها بكل ما نملك ولدينا كل المخترعات وكل المنتجات ولكنها في بلادنا تختلف تماما عما هوموجود في بلادكم.
مثلا عندنا تليفونات لا تتكلم وعندنا ترومايات لا تسير وعندنا جرائد لا تنشر ما تريد ولكنها تنشر ما يريده البية الرقيب احيانا والبية المعلن احيانا وعندنا حكومات يخدمها الجمهور ولكنها لا تخدم أحد، وعندنا احزاب تتاجر بالكلام والبرامج والوعود وعندنا شرطة لا تقبض على الجناه ولكن على الضحية، وعندنا مائة الف دكتور في العلوم لفنون الاداب وتسعون مليون امي وعندنا جامعوس على قفا من يشيل وبقر على ودنه مع ذلك فكيلو اللحم بثلاثمائة ليرة في بروت وعشرة جنيهات في القاهرة.
