ويشتمل هذا الكتاب على ثلاثة أبواب حيث جاء الباب الأول بعنوان: "تقييم البرامج والمشروعات الإجتماعية من منظور الخدمة الإجتماعية" ويحتوي على ثلاثة فصول، الأول بعنوان: "تقييم البرامج والمشروعات الإجتماعية الأهمية والأهداف، الأنواع والوظائف" زجاء الثاني بعنوان: "التقييم في الخدمة الإجتماعية" والثالث جاء بعنوان: "المشكلات العملية والقضايا الأخلاقية المرتبطة بعملية تقييم البرامج والمشروعات الإجتماعية.
ثم جاء الباب الثاني بعنوان: "عملية تقييم البرامج والمشروعات الإجتماعية.. تخطيط وتنفيذ- طرق وأساليب- نظريات ونماذج" مشتملاً على ثلاثة فصول حيث جاء في الفصل الرابع بعنوان: "التخطيط والتنفيذ لعملية تقييم البرامج والمشروعات الإجتماعية"، ثم جاء الفصل الخامس بعنوان: "طرق وأساليب تقييم البرامج والمشروعات الإجتماعية" وجاء الفصل السادس بعنوان: "النظريات والنماذج والمناهج المستخدمة في تقييم البرامج والمشروعات الإجتماعية".
وجاء الباب الثالث بعنوان: "تقييم المشروعات الإجتماعية" مشتملاً على ثلاثة فول حيث جاء في الفصل السابع والثامن بعنوان "خطوات تقييم البرامج والمشروعات الإجتماعية" وجاء الفصل التاسع بعنوان "تقييم البرامج والمشروعات الإجتماعية" وأخيراً جاء في الفصل العاشر والأخير بعنوان "طرق تقييم الممارسة المهنية للخدمة الإجتماعية".
