ينطوي هذا المجلد من نقص الصورة ، على أربعة كتب : الأول ، مقاربة نظرية في فهم النص وتأويله بمقتضى علاقاته التاريخية واللسانية والسيميوطيقية والفلسفية ، وهذه المقاربة ليست تجميعا نظريا وإنما هي اجتهادات تكونت لدي عبر سنوات من التعامل مع نصوص لا حصر لها ، أدبية ، ودينية ، وتاريخية ، وفلسفية . والثاني يتضمن النصوص والمرويات النثرية والشعرية المتعلقة بموضوعة الموت بوصفها موضوعة تمثل إشكالية انطولوجية في الفلسفة القديمة والحديثة على حد سواء ، الثالث يتضمن نصوصا سردية لكتاب يمثلون اتجاهات متباينة في القص. الرابع يتضمن نصوصا شعرية حديثة من العمودي والحر وقصيدة النثر والنص المفتوح وفي كل الأحوال جرى تأويل هذه النصوص بمقتضى المقاربة النظرية التي افترضت وجود نصيين متلازميين احدهما النص الظاهر ، والآخر النص المضمر.
