الأخلاق والسياسة مبحثان رئيسان من مباحث الفلسفة يرتبطان إرتباطاً مباشر ولصيقاً بالوجود الإنساني الذي من سماته الحرية والسعي إلى تحقيق العدالة توجد اختلافات رئيسية بين الأخلاق والسياسة من هذه الأختلافات تجد أن الأخلاق تهتم بالداخل، أما السياسة فإنها تهتم بالخارج، حامل الأخلاق هو الفرد، وحامل السياسة هو المجتمع، الإلتزام الأخلاقي داخلي، أما الإلتزام السياسي فهو خارجي، ومن ثم فإن الجزاء في الأخلاق داخلي يتمثل في تأئنيب الضمير، أما الجزاء في السياسة فيتمثل في تطبيق القانون، الأخلاق تهدف إلى سعادة الفرد، أما السياسة فإنها تسعى إلى خير المجتمع (لتحقيق الصالح العام) ، الأخلاق تهتم بالبواعث الداخليةللفعل الباعث، أما السياسة فإن عينها على الدوافع الخارجية في الأخلاق فتكون قيمة الفعل في الباعث عليه، أما قيمة الفعل تكمن فيما يحققه من نفع عام.
ذلك كله كان وارداً في معالجة "أبو ريدة" لبعض المسائل الأخلاقية والسياسية التي إحتواها هذا الجزء في أعمال "أبو ريدة".
