إذا كان من الخطأ الشنيع تصوير السيرة النبوية وكأنها مصادفة تاريخية، فالأشد تورطاً في الشناعة تصويرها وكأنها مغازي فقط؛ لأن واقع السيرة فكر نبوي عميق، وخطط دبلوماسية عظيمة ومرنة، وإرادة بصرها الوحي فنفذت تخترق بإعجاز، وعناية ربانية لم تترك للأهواء صياغتها.
إن المنهج التاريخي هو أكثر المناهج هيمنة في السيرة وتأثيراً، لكن يؤخد عليه أنه اختصر الفترة المكية في مشاهد محدودة، لقد قضى رسول الله في مكة فترة زمنية وصلت نسبتها 57% في البعثة النبوية، من الأسف أن هذه الفترة لم تلق ما تستحقه من إهتمام جدير في كتب السيرة لا قديماً ولا حديثاً، تختزل بنسبة ضئيلة بلغ متوسطها 26%، لماذا هذا التهميش؟!...
لهذا - بتوفيق من الله تعالى وفضل - كتبت الدبلوماسية النبوية لفتح منهجية جديدة، لتوضيح درر عظيمة همَّشها السَّرد التاريخي، ولا أزعم أن الدبلوماسية وحدها توضِّح أبعاد السيرة، فلا يزال المجال متَّسع لرؤى وتصورات لعشرات من المجلدات، لأن السيرة عظيمة ولن تُستنفد أبداً.
