كما يعد هذا الكتاب كتاباً منهجياً ومرجعياً في آن واحد، فهو ممكن ان يلبي حاجة محددة لتدريس هكذا مادة في الجامعات والمعاهد العربية، وخاصة مواد إقتصاديات السفر والسياحة، كما أنه كتاب مرجعي يعود إليه المهتمون ليس من الدارسين لعلم السياحة فقط، بل ومن العاملين في حقل السياحة بحثاً وتخطيطاً وإدارةً وتشغيلاً.
