ويحاول هذا الكتاب أن يقدم تحليلاَ للأبعاد الدولية للألعاب الرياضية، فيقدم عبر خمسة فصول تعريفاً للألعاب الرياضية، وطبيعة النظام الرياضي الدولي والتطور الذي شهدته تلك الألعاب في عصر العولمة وما أنتجه ذلك على "تسيبس" الألعاب الرياضية وتزايد استخدامها كأداة من أدوات السياسة الخارجية.
