Book Description
يتناول هذا الكتاب بالتحليل النظريات المحدثة (البديلة) للتجارة الدولية، وهنا يطرح سؤال مشروع حول النظريات التي يمكن إعتبارها نظرية محدثة، أو بديلة، ولماذا؟ فحتى أواسط القرن العشرين كانت دراسة التجارة الدولية تجري في إطار نظرية الميزات النسبية النيوكلاسيكية، التي كانت لفترة معينة تقدم نتائج جيدة وتفسيرات مقبولة، سواء في ما يتعلق بتفسير إتجاهات وبنى التدفقات السلعية، أم بخصوص التوقعات بشأن الإتجاهات المستقبلية.
ولكن، بعدما اتضح بصورة نهائية في بدايات الخمسينات من القرن المنصرم، عجز المقاربة النيوكلاسيكية عن تفسير التجارة الدولية والتحولات التي شهدتها، أخذت تظهر نظريات جديدة، بديلة من النماذج النيوكلاسيكية، حاولت تفسير خصائص التجارة الدولية المعاصرة من منطلقات جديدة غير تقليدية.
فقد أدت التغيرات الجوهرية التي شهدها الإقتصاد العالمي ومنظومة العلاقات الدولية في مرحلة ما بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية، إلى ظهور عدد من العوامل التي لا تندرج دائماً في سياق نظرية الميزات النسبية النيوكلاسيكية.
وإذا كانت هذه العوامل الجديدة لا تنفي النظرية النيوكلاسيكية، إلا أنها تعكس إلى هذا الحد أو ذاك الحقائق الجديدة في التجارة الدولية، وفي العلاقات الإقتصادية الدولية عموماً.
