في كتابه هذا، يوضح سماحة آية الله الشيخ عفيف النَّابلسي "أحكام الزواج الدائم والمتقطع" ويتكأ في هذه الأحكام على ما ورد في الزواج من كتاب الله سبحانه وتعالى (القرآن الكريم) وسنّة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وأقوال العلماء من الفريقين والغاية الحث والترغيب على الزواج وبيان مكانته في الإسلام، يقول الرسول الأكرم صلى الله عليه وسلم: "ما بني بناء في الإسلام أحب إلى الله عزّ وجلّ من التزويج".
وبناءً على ما تقدم قسم المؤلف عمله إلى قسمين: القسم الأول: في النكاح الدائم ويضم أحكام في آداب العقد والخلوة وكيفية كتابة العقد وفي أولياء العقد، وأسباب التحريم وغيرها.
أما القسم الثاني، فهو في النكاح المنقطع، مشروعيته من عدمها، وأحكامه في عهد الرسول والعصر الذي يليه حتى وقتنا الحاضر، ويختم الكتاب بأسئلة أجاب عنها المؤلف حول أحكام الزواج المنقطع مثل: هل يجوز العقد على البكر بدون إذن والدها؟ وهل تحتاج المتزوجة بالعقد المنقطع أن تعتد وبعد ذلك تتزوج دائماً من نفس الزوج أم أنه لا تشترط العدة في مثل هذه الحالة؟ وهل يجوز الزواج من امرأة من المذاهب الأخرى وغيرها من أسئلة...
