عندما نتحدث عن الحاج أمين الحسينى المجاهد والقائد العربي الفلسطيني لابد لنا أن نقف كثيرا عند مسيرة حياته فى الثورة الفلسطينية وسجل مواقف وصور متلاحقة من الجهاد منذ أيام شبابه إلى نهاية حياته. بدأت زعامته في وقت مبكر. منذ أن تم احتلال القسم الجنوبى من فلسطين أواخر عام 1917.
لم يجاهد من أجل فلسطين وحدها. بل جاهد للأمة العربية جمعاء, تعرض للهجوم العنيف من الأعداء ومن المقربين ولكنه بقى صامدا قاد ثورة العشرين عام 1920 وكان فى الصفوف الأولى للمعركة واعتبره الإنجليز المسئول الأول عن الثورة.
إن سيرة الحسينى تستحق البحث والدراسة لا لأبناء فلسطين فحسب بل لأبناء الأمة العربية المقاومين. فالأجيال الحالية بحاجة اليوم إلى دراسة هذه المسيرة الجهادية لرجل بدأ منذ شبابه الجهاد فى سبيل وطنه والدفاع عن الأمة العربية.
كان يرى ان المعركة مع الأعداء جهاد مقدس فكانت حياته عرضه للكثير من الطعون والاتهامات فى حياته وبعد وفاته. إذا كانت هذه الاتهامات من قبل الاعداء الصهاينة أو الاحتلال البريطانى أو المقربين إليه والتشكيك فى مقاومته. كانت جولاته فى العالمين العربي والإسلامي والدولي ولقاؤه مع زعماء دول المحور من أجل القضية الفلسطينية والعربية هو برهان ساطع على جهاد فى سبيلها.
لذا نجد ان هناك قصورا لسيرته لا يتماشى مع الدور الكبير الذى قام به الحاج أمين الحسينى. وكانت آخر أيامه هي المزيد من الاتهامات والتشكيك فى جهاده ومقاومته. لذا نحن نقدم هذا الكتاب عن سيرة حياته وجهاده ومواقفه الجديرة بالقراءة والمراجعة.
